Preparing the celebration of the “School Day of Non-violence and Peace”

On January 30th, 1948, Mahatma Gandhi was murdered, and since 1964 the Day of Non-violence and Peace has been celebrated at schools from all over the world.

Taking advantage this important date, we want to colaborate in the culture of peace and non-violence. That´s why we propose you to realiced the next activitie with us:

In the next two weeks we are going to work about concepts like peace, mediation, conflict prevention, tolerance, solidarity and respect for Human Rights in our school, our neighborhood, our city and the world. When you know what they mean to you, we propose you write small messages of 280 characters expressing your feelings and wishes about this concepts (you can use your twitter account for share them with the rest of the countries with the hastag #swispeaceday ).

In the second week of februry, we will select the best and we will upload to our blog.
